ABSENCES, PEOPLE ON UNCONFIRMED TEAMS, AND AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

We're getting close to the deadline, so this is your reminder: you must join a confirmed team by 11:59 PM EDT June 1st, (roughly 12 hours from now) or you will not be able to participate. To that end, I've compiled a list of people currently on unconfirmed teams, organized for easier perusal! We will not be emailing people individually, so please check the list for your name if you are unsure.

We encourage those of you on unconfirmed teams to regroup and see if you can unite six people behind a common cause, but if not, this post has a full listing of open team slots, and there is always Team Alchemiter or English.

However, since there are so many people on unconfirmed teams and we've received a lot of questions about this:

We are giving people on 5-person teams a week's grace past June 1.

That means that if you are on a 5-person team by the end of today, we won't automatically put you on Team English; instead, you can hang on for a week in 'limbo' to see if anyone switches to your team. If by June 8, 11:59PM EDT, your team is still unconfirmed, you will be automatically moved to Team English.
If you would like to withdraw your signup rather than be moved to Team English, you may do so by emailing us.

Lastly, for all HSO participants, we encourage you to check the named team or Alchemiter roster. With this many participants, we are bound to make mistakes, so your best bet is to be responsible for your own signup! Email any corrections to us (homestuck.shipping at gmail).

Hopefully by now you have joined your team comm and checked in with your palhoncho and fellow members! If not, please do so immediately. If your palhoncho appears to be missing, please let us know.

I've jumped ship to an Alchemiter team because I really want to be able to participate, but if there's enough people interested in Eridan♠Feferi, I'm jumping back.

That means only two people to give us one more week to enthrall convince one person more. Anybody?

I'd jump if you know you'll have enough people to be confirmed! So if you know you've got five, I'll be your sixth :) Eridan♠Feferi is my kismesis OTP, but I've already had to jump ship once to Disciple<3Psiioniic<3Sufferer, so I want to make sure if I just ship now, it's to a confirmed team!

I've semi-regrettably jumped ship from Karkat <3< Karkat to join Equius <3 Tavros. It still says I'm on the list for KK <3< KK though.

I'm not sorry about the team I'm on now (Eq <3 Tav is always cool!), but I am sorry that we couldn't put together a full team of Karkat blackrom hilarity and drama. :<

[Actually, if I can get 5 people within the next 3 hours to pledge to join Karkat <3< Karkat, I can jump back, but this probably won't happen.] At least there is always Alchemiter for anyone who still wants to ship KK <3< KK. <3

Hey guys! Team disciple♥psiioniic♥sufferer only needs one more member to be confirmed! If anyone is interested, please please please please join us! That is all we need to be confirmed!
Come on guys! We've got ancestors! We've got the classic love story between the disciple and the sufferer with added psiioniic action! We've got a highly tragic story in which everyone eventually dies! Some faster than others! We're practically the grown up versions of Karkat/Nepeta, Sollux/Karkat, and, I know you fans are somewhere out there, Sollux/Nepeta! We've got Disciple/Sufferer! We've got Sufferer/Psiioniic! We've even got Disciple/Psiioniic! With so many great ships, how can you refuse! If you're on a sinking ship, come on and help another ship in danger of sinking! Please you guys! It will be great, I promise!

We have reached the last day of the team shuffle, though there is the week's grace period for those in five-man teams. Regardless the clock is now ticking down and the moon looms over head with its creepy smile, preparing to doom us all because a small child told him to.

That long and needless reference made Team Dolorosa<3Mindfang is still in the five member count. While there is the grace period I would like to ask if someone could please join before 11:59 EDT/8:59 PST. There is a time limit and possibility of auto placement in Team English looming over our heads! Which is fine team, but choice. Choice is so very sweet and vital.

And hey we have pirates. Pirates are awesome. They attack other ships for money, booze, food, soap, and wood and follow democratic styles of order! And then go to port to get blitzed! Sea going and port in general is exciting and foul. The Pogues Sea Shanty says so and how could an Irish folk punk band lie to us? Even though that song isn't technically a shanty, but a jig?

There is metaphorical freedom too! Since we know only so much about the relationship between the two. Sweeter interpretations along with the dark and tragic would all work!

And all with a slave. A slave who is likely naked at points. Observe.
