You try to delay yourself for a few seconds, poking at the burning remnants in the heart of the crackling fire with a small branch. You only stop when a breeze catches and a few tongues of flame lick the branch, and you withdraw your hand before it catches fire.
"They're having quite the gala over there," you say, and the corners of your lips twitch slightly in an attempt to smile. If the others were there, you're sure they would be having fun while on the lookout for you two. "No doubt it'll go on for another night or two." You shift in your seat.
The Psiioniic notices this and places a hand on your head, ruffling your hair up. You flush indignantly.
"Nervous about the crowds?" He chuckles. Of course you're not nervous of the crowds!! Well...maybe you are, but only due to your current situation. Knowing the Psiioniic though, he'd probably make an effort to keep the both of you here until the carnival ended for your sake, and you couldn't risk that.
With that in mind, you attempt to reassure the Psiionic.
