As you move towards the room you are now starting to get worried. As quiet as you and Kanaya tend to be together, your house still never has this amount of silence. The only sounds that you can hear are your footsteps and your breathing. Oh, and the thumping from the other room. You keep hearing that too.

The bumps just get louder and more frequent the closer you get to the source. You are scared but that won't stop you if something has happened to Kanaya. You reach the room that the noises are coming from and place your hand on the doorknob, bracing yourself for anything.
