Hi shippers! Welcome to Bonus Round 2.
Round Robin Fanadventures generated so much awesome stuff last year that we decided to bring it back!

For those who are new to HSO, this is not actually that complicated a concept, but it might be a little tricky to explain, so bear with me. The point of this round is to create a bunch of fanadventures that are for a team other than your own.

Rules

If you are starting a new adventure: start a new thread using the title format defined below. Include either text or 1-2 pieces of embedded art setting a scene (or both!), and finish with a command (==> does not count as a command for new threads). Then sit back and wait for someone else to contribute!
If you are continuing an adventure: find a thread that does not center around your team's ship. Then comment using the title format defined below. Include either text or 1-2 pieces of embedded art continuing the scene (or both!), and finish with a command (this can include ==>, though generally we would prefer otherwise). Then sit back and wait for someone else to contribute!
For ease of reading, we suggest using standardized image sizes. 600x400 landscape is a pretty good size! But as long as it's the same as the other images in the thread, people will have an easier time following along. The HTML for inserting images is <img src="http://yourimageurlhere.com">
For this challenge, there is no minimum wordcount. We are trusting you not to abuse that fact!
You may not comment twice in a row in one adventure. The point is to hand off the scene like a hot potato.
You may not introduce or create for your team's ship into a fanadventure. If someone else introduces your team's ship to a thread, you can still contribute to that thread so long as your contributions do not involve your ship.
This challenge will run until 11:59PM EDT July 7. After that time, even if it's just by a minute according to the LJ timestamp, no submissions will be accepted for points.

NOTES:

Audio posts are fine, so long as you include a transcript.
Please make sure to check that your titles are correct!
You may answer commands that have already been answered. Think of it like a 'choose your own adventure' game!

Title Format
If you are starting a new thread, use this format in your title.

Replace [THEIR SHIP] with the ship you want this particular fanadventure thread to be. Remember that you cannot create a fanadventure based on your own ship. Whatever ship you choose must be represented by a HSO team not your own. The only exception is gen adventures, which are permitted.
Replace [YOUR SHIP] with the name of the team YOU belong to; please use the characters and quadrant, not whatever portmanteau or nickname you've come up with. If your team name is not in this format and in the title it may not be counted.

If you are continuing a thread, use this format in your title.

Replace [COMMAND] with whatever command the previous fill has specified.
Replace [YOUR SHIP] with the name of the team YOU belong to; please use the characters and quadrant, not whatever portmanteau or nickname you've come up with.

You are in a room, chained to a disturbingly clean, white wall. You are project # BCP-2013 but your name is John Egbert and you are 16 years old.

This is the 414th time you've died, you think when you open your eyes. Actually, you really don't know for sure because you sort of stopped counting after the 328th time when they stuck a needle with who the fuck knows what inside of you and watched the blood in your veins boil you alive.

You are so tired. So very, very tired.

All you want to do is call for Jade, to call out and make sure she's alright, that she's alive, that she really did get out like she told you she would, and that she'd come and get you next.

That's all you want to do, and sleep. But you can't, because the doctor is now pushing a new, clean, needle into your neck, for the 415th time.

You are now JADE HARLEY and you are in PAIN.

Then again, who isn't in pain here? You hope your friends aren't, but you know that's not true.

Today is not a testing day for you, you are currently in lock down in a too clean smelling room, obviously having been bleached since you bled all over the floor after your last testing day.

You can't see, you can't use your powers, you can't believe how helpless you feel.

There is a guard looking over you, that means today is someone else's testing day... and you get a sinking feeling that it's--

You don't want to think about it.

You wish you could do something.

If only you could see and get a better grasp on the things around you, then you could fix everything...

GUARD: nope, just D-class.

GUARD: killed a couple of people.

JADE: you wouldent happen to be nice enough to take my blindfold off for me?
GUARD: hahaha hell no. that goes against your protocol. I'd fucking get exterminated for that.
JADE: ughhhhhhhhh.
JADE: what else is on my protocol?
GUARD: not telling you what's on your protocol.
JADE: .........
GUARD: I'm fucking kidding, okay.
GUARD: lessie here, protocol...
GUARD: if anything goes awry or screwy with you, class one cosmic containment procedures are to be initiated.
JADE: what are those??
GUARD: we release a dude locked in a coffin box on you or something, I dunno. we're not allowed to read into that stuff.
JADE: there wouldnt happen to be anything about me getting a little bit of freedom somewhere in my protocol?
GUARD: nope, the BCP is here to contain, not to, uh, fucking free up.
GUARD: although I've seen some BCP's get to eat in the cafeteria if they behave themselves.
GUARD: there's this great self-refilling pizza box there, right? it automatically------

He goes on like that for a while. Behave yourself? You're not sure if it will work.

Besides, you're like, half dog! It's hard to be trained.

You are JADE HARLEY and right now, you are on the roof of a VERY FAMILIAR FACILITY.

You are also KEEPING A PROMISE.

You escaped from this facility months ago, just like you told him you would. Since that time, you've been building up the resources to break back IN. You made it out the first time by the skin of your teeth, and you didn't want to take a risk by going back in alone. You don't know what kind of shape he'll be in.

So luckily, you've brought in some reinforcements.

By 'reinforcements', you're really just exaggerating - you only have one. Davesprite - or Dave as he prefers to be called.
Although you were unable to rescue John, you were able to rescue Davesprite on the night you escaped thanks to a swipe card key on a particularly weak guard. The original Dave's whereabouts you don't know - and honestly, you don't really want to find out.
From what little information you've managed to worm out of your feathered partner, the experiments the scientists conducted were so violent they literally ripped Dave into two halves - and if this Dave was the better of the two halves with his wild mood swings, bouts of rage and bird like qualities. (you've yet to find out why that happened - or why he's orange) If this is the better of two halves, you don't want to meet the worst. The only reason he's even returned here is to repay you for saving him.

All of this all the more reason to keep your promise.

Dave settles down beside you on the ledge, orange tinted glasses catching what little moonlight there is tonight, the pale rays making his wispy tail appear almost transparent.
It's almost midnight - you need to act now.

Phase One: Cause a distaction

Er, distraction.

This part of the plan is mostly on Davesprite; his wings don't do so well in closed locations, so you devised a plan to keep him outside. It's alarmingly simple - he makes a move as though to break in, and attracts attention at the front. Meanwhile, you sneak in the back. It'd be more effective with more people, but you'll have to make due with who you have.

But then, "who you have" are a couple of genetically engineered powerhouses. You're not entirely outmatched.

You give Dave the signal - a simple nod - and he floats down below and begins to make a racket. You watch only long enough to make sure the guards are drawn in by the noise before you slink off.

You are Jade Harley and you are without a doubt the finest scientific mind of your generation. There was a time when you would have called yourself second-finest in order to challenge yourself, but you've long since realized that the challenge of growth comes from within.

Growth is what you're aiming for at this very specific moment, as you push the plunger of the syringe.

This subject is able to return from the dead, repeatedly. You have eliminated the usual causes of misdiagnosed death by dint of complete observation: galvanic sensors, pneumatic markers, chemical trackers marking circulation both in the body and in the brain, and you have killed the subject by methods meant to eliminate, one by one, every variable which might produce a false positive.

Only recently have you begun to truly believe that you will not receive one. Your subject can truly die and truly revive--autonomously. He is a marvel. He has already done so much for you, and will do a great deal more. The applications of this research will make nonsense of mortality itself, and chances are decent your subject will survive the tests to see it. Well, almost decent. You're still researching the parameters of his unique ability, of course.

You watch him. You've given him a coagulant, this time.
