Yup, you read correctly! Team Jakezi has three open spots and there are a good handful of reasons why you should totally consider hopping on board.

• Terezi is not cerulean but maybe he’s colorblind or something
• Omg if he’s colorblind and she’s blind they’d be a partially-blind duo AND HEY WAIT SHE CAN ONLY “SEE” COLORS
• WAAAAH THAT’S SO CUTE OMG okay headcanon Jake is colorblind
• Oh yeah uh… everyone is in love with them?
• Idk it’d be very BAMF-y if they just made out or something like HAHA FUCK YOU I’M DATING THE PERSON YOU’RE IN LOVE WITH
• Mutual interest: Striders. Yes.
• Terezi seems like an adventurous person sometimes? They can roleplay and smooch into the sunset or whatever
• They’d be awful for eachother but idk it’s cute.

Okay, so those are terrible reasons and I never did get to make a powerpoint but there are actual perks to joining our team!

• You don't need to be spectacular at anything.
• You'll help establish the basis and the general fanon for the possible up-and-coming ship.
• They're such a rare pair that there's no going wrong!
• We've climbed up from "god what drug were you taking when you thought of that ship" to "wow that is a really rare pair". In other words, our characters have actually met in canon. They haven't spoken to each other yet, but soon!
• Jake and Terezi are both pretty awesome!
• They have a couple of things in common, so we have something to build from.
• We have an interesting combination of characters that could play off each other really well or really badly (in the best way).
• You'd have a palhoncho who tries to take care of their team and makes these obnoxiously long posts that no one reads goddammit I work hard sdkljslsda D:
