Rec 1: Says the Dragon to the Mama Cat (http://hso2012-r1.dreamwidth.org/7039.html) Team: Nepeta<3Terezi Creator: Round 1 Team Entry Why I’m recommending it: First off, the art is gorgeous. The style is super adorable, and I really liked the use of colour as well. Second, with good-looking comics I often find that the writing is... not that good, but this is not the case at all. It's pretty simplistic, but I think it really works, well enough to stand on its own, although it's obviously even better together with the illustrations.
Rec 2: Bets Worth Taking (http://hso2012-r1.dreamwidth.org/6223.html) Team: Aradia<3Rose Creator: Round 1 Team Entry Why I’m recommending it: I don't think I even considered Aradia<3Rose before I read this entry, but now I ship it?? One of the things that really sold me on this fic is that it manages to establish the AU and do a lot of exposition in such a short time without it seeming trite at all, which is pretty impressive if you ask me. I really enjoyed it. Also, the dialogue is really enjoyable.

I'm generally really impressed with people who are good at rewriting songs to fit fandom stuff, and whoever did this is def. one of those people. I just wish there was more. Also there's pretty art, so you have something to stare longingly at while you listen. Generally really well put together.
