Rec 1:Untitled John<3Karkat Team: Karkat<>Sollux Creator: grausam Why I’m recommending it: I was not expecting this to get filled. I mean, best case scenario, I was expecting some sort of awful "All the Pretty Horses" parody. But lo! I got a wonderful picture instead! Karkat as the cranky, native, worker boy... John as the tourist who is either hopelessly lost or has a misguided conception of roughing it out... the whole thing weaves an excellent tale!
Rec 2:Untitled Dirk<3Jake Team: Dave<3Jade Creator: asherdashery Why I’m recommending it: Jake is just so, so in character. It's rare to see someone pull off Jake's POV like asherdashery does. I love the story, it just makes me want more!!! I want to see Jake fail at being an outlaw and I want to see Dirk be there for him the whole way. The pictures are just a super bonus on top of the Dirk/Jake cake.
Rec 3:Untitled Beta Kids Team: Rose<3Roxy Creator: adaorardor Why I’m recommending it: The costumes. Oh my gosh, Everybody's costumes are beautiful, especially the girls' costumes, which we get full body shots of. I love the little details here, Rose's skull necklace, Jade pouring Rose a cup o' somethin'... It's such a good picture to look at and absorb.
