FILL: TEAM DAVE<3JOHN

10/10 edition - Part 1! I rate everything out of 10 which means pretty much everything I vote for gets a 9 (it doesn't help when narrowing things down when there's like 10 9/10 fics). These are the fics I've found worthy of a 10/10. PERFECTION.
(aka if you actually wrote these tell me so I can stalk you)

Rec 1: Bend Around the Blades
Team: Dirk<3Jake<3Jane<3Roxy

Why I’m recommending it: I absolutely loved seeing Jane really kick butt in this fic as she's one of my favorite characters, and I thin people really underestimate her. The interactions between the 4 kids are lovely and heartbreaking all at once. It works very well with canon and it's clear thought went into what sort of thing Jane might try to do to win the game. It's also very suspenseful until the very end.

Rec 2: Lingering in Doorways
Team: Dad<3Roxy

Why I’m recommending it: Is it clear I love sad fics yet? I really loved the emotions here and the portrayal of how complicated this relationship would be is great (as it is in everything this team has written). Both Dad and Roxy are full of complex feelings that are written perfectly and the reader can't help but feel those feelings too. Just a very emotional and well written piece.

Rec 3: It Could Happen To You
Team: Rose<3Roxy

Why I’m recommending it: This fic is incredibly suspenseful throughout! I was literally on the edge of my seat freaking out as it approached the ending, which works perfectly with the built up suspense. Additionally the back story surrounding Rose and Roxy's relationship is well thought out for the AU setting and works to add to the depth of the situation Roxy finds herself in.
