So, we were completely blown away by the sheer volume of sign-ups (374 at the time of this writing); as a sort of stop-gap measure while we try to get the team lists up, feel free to comment here and tell others what team(s) you signed up for!

Haha, that's cool! I'm sure you'll make it into something on the list. Dave <3 Dave needs more love, I mean, it's just so obvious, isn't it? A little narcissistic, gets along with himself, unfazed by bizarre situations, and with an attitude like he'd be willing to try just about anything; I'm surprised I don't see/read more things with Dave <3 Dave.

I think KK <3< KK is a good match for me though, since humor seems to be my strong suit... not that KK <3< KK can't be serious. He really is his own worst enemy. I bet this'll be a lot of fun!

Not that I know of, but, since people are signing up in record numbers, and a bunch of teams are full already, I think that maybe with a bit of tumblr recruitment, Rose<3Nepeta will prevail ;).

I really hope you do end up going for Rose<3Nepeta, but good luck on all your ships even if you don't!

I get obsessed sometimes, but I really haven't taken part in fandomry constantly. Some people float between fandoms so quickly and say whatever their last one was is stupid, but I don't get that way. I haven't been part of many fandoms, and I've never disliked them... but sometimes the fans are crazy and make me want to cry. I hadn't read fanfiction in years before more recently. Fandom is so addictive, it's like methamphetamine or something.

I bet this'll end up a confirmed team! There are a few people interested, I guess, and we've got until June to fill the team, right? Anyway, oh God, now you've got me thinking of doomed Karkats. All of the Karkats in one Dream Bubble. All of them.

Maybe that's what he's really afraid of when he falls asleep: seeing all of his dead selves and them all ganging up on him.

I know what you mean, there are some ships that I like that I can't think of more than one or two ideas for, even though they're nice to think about and probably make sense. I'm sure DaveKat would be easy for me to start writing for, but hard to finish. Somebody will say something and suddenly I'll end up with pages of dialogue.

I hope I can come up with some decent ideas, and I have a few vague plans already. <3

Not a mod, but (in case you haven't found the answer yet) Dave♥Dirk and Bro♥Dave are different ships I'm afraid. The Alpha kids and their Beta counterparts are counted as separate characters for the purposes of HSO (just like Dave and Davesprite are different, or Dirk and the autoresponder)

My friends tease me for shipping Dave/Terezi/Karkat over Dave/John/Karkat. I love them both, but I just think Terezi is more fun as the middleman, so to speak. -giggles- I can just see her sitting back and letting Dave and Karkat fight it out for her amusement, because Dave doesn't even know Karkat's hate-flirting and Karkat is just so jealous of Dave that he's glowing green and Terezi is just snarking from the sidelines egging it on.

Best matesprit, not so good auspitice. <3 Actually, not the best matesprit either, but she adores her boys and they adore her unironically so it all works.

I've actually only recently gotten hooked on Davesprite, although he makes me sad whenever I think too much about it. I mean, as a doomed!Dave he had to watch half his friends die and fought for so many months so he could go back and help and I mean just omg. But then again, that's the entire freaking Strider family for you. A huge history of self-sacrifice and feeeelings~ -waggles fingers theatrically-

At this point we should have at least 6 people at the moment so as long as people don't pull out or switch teams we should be good! I'm hoping we do make the final cut, it'll be awesome! I certainly hope so~ But yes, Dave <3 Dave does need more love. It's a wonderful ship. I ran into a Dave/John/Dave fic that I really really liked since it started out with the two Daves making out with each other. ;3 Dave really is just too sexy for anyone but himself. Hehe~

Yeah, you could definitely do humor with that... But also some interesting angst and character development too. I really hope yours ends up as a viable team! It's totally worth it!

I'm just hoping there's some hope considering I've had all this drama over the other policy and such and I couldn't register the day of due to being at my sis' graduation. Considering its not quite as popular as other pairings I figure that's the one I have the best chance for.

wow, there's a lot more people who want to do Signless<3Psiioniic than I expected! Are they all friends of yours? I definitely poked a few friends of mine over at tumblr to sign up for the team as well - vintage-aerith and skwinky - so with all of us that means about 8 people, give or take? And I wouldn't be surprised if robotsquid signed up as well.

I can't wait to find out the line-up for sure!

I wonder if that's the same Dave/John/Dave that I read on Tumblr where they were all dead in a dream bubble. John was watching them like it was an imminent train wreck until they noticed him. "Two Daves, No Waiting," it's called. I love that one. I always wonder why that setup isn't more of a thing. Anyway, what would one expect two (or more??) of the same Dave to do when he's alone and obligated to just wait around for the sake of continuing a stable time loop?

Yes, I want to make laughs with KK <3< KK, but I can do something with a bit more desperation-- despite the situation's obvious humorous overtones that come from the simple fact that he cannot tolerate himself. He really does cause most of his own problems. I think he can be a pretty satirical pair in the most catastrophic ways.

I know of ashkatom - I've enjoyed some of her fic (I'm ... a little intimidated out of writing contributions ... XD; (I'll get over it)), and I'll check out everyone's tumblrs after work. :)
