Hey, shippers! Welcome to your very first bonus round proper--we hope you have lots of fun with it! This time around we're going to be asking you to mix it up a little--each fanwork posted for this round will be a mish-mash of two different genres, blended together in a delightful incestuous slurry to create an UNSTOPPABLE CREATIVE CONCOCTION--er. Or. Something.

Yeah, we're genre-mixing. That's what we're doing this round.

Rules

Submit prompts! Prompts should consist of two different genres and one ship. This cannot be your team's ship! These are worth 5 points each, for a maximum of 100 points per team.

Look through the prompts and fill whichever you like!

You may not fill prompts for your ship, nor may you fill your own team's prompts.

Fills should be posted as replies to the prompts which they are for, following the format below. They may be any medium.

Scoring
For prompt posts: 5 points each (maximum of 100 per team)

For fills (as stated here):
First 5 entries in each post: 30 (per entry)
Entries 6-10 in each post: 20 (per entry)
Entries 11-15 in each post: 10 (per entry)
Entries 16+ in each post: 5 (per entry)

All scored content must be created/assembled new for this round.

I love every bit of this. It's sad and funny and so them, it's wonderful.

(Iiii have no idea if this came out right since the high fantasy was sort of in the background?)

It figures that with enough people into fantasy, a world made from your image has a lot more magic in it than you were used to back on Earth.

There are a lot of wizards and ghosts, courtesy of Rose and John, but there are also elves, werewolves, werecats, and even goddamn werecrows.

(You're not sure whose fault those are. You insist it's not yours.)

You still have your powers, which, while unusually powerful, don't stand out unless you go full-out godtier on anyone. It allows you a semblance of normalcy. You're glad there's not a whole lot of obvious influence to the populace besides your symbols in the night sky. Being a god isn't all it's cracked up to be.

None of you like to stay put, but you do have a house when you feel like taking a break. You've just returned home to clean up and change when you hear the jingling of coins.

"You know, you kind of stand out," you say without looking in her direction. "And I can hear you coming a mile away. When are you gonna ditch that tacky outfit?"

"John and Jade think it makes me look mysterious," Rose replies coolly, coming inside your abode. She's taken to a vaguely gypsy-ish outfit lately, rich with purples and blacks, though she keeps some orange trim as a reminder of the power she wields. You pull yourself our of your chair and plop down on the pile of yarn and knitted things. Old habits gained from the meteor die hard, and it doesn't feel right to have a chat without sitting ensconced in a pile of random shit.

She joins you, pulling her needles from her sylladex and rifling through the pile for some yarn. She likes to knit during your feeling jams.

"So, sup sis?" You start. "Enlightened anybody lately?"

"The path of Enlightenment is self-obtained. I guide, I do not do it for them. Which you know full well, so I'm not sure why I bother explaining."

Your mouth twitches into a smirk, and you lean back into the pile, waiting for her to continue.

She waits only a few moments before that, as you knew she would. "There is a young man who seems to have a knack for divination. I've been teaching him. Taught anyone the ways of chivalry of late?"

"I beat some punk ass knight in a rap battle, if it counts."

"I'm fairly certain it doesn't," she replies. She finds a ball of yarn in a nice shade of red and begins to cast on.

There's a comfortable silence for a few moments. She finishes three rows as you think over your words. Finally, you ask, "What do we do now?"

The clicking of needles stops. "What do you mean?"

"With this whole thing. This new world. What do we do?" You say quietly. As strange and fantastic as this world is, you're at a loss. Where do you fit into this world of magic and swordplay and fucking walking trees when you don't have your duty as the Knight of Time. No doomed timelines to correct, no goal to look for. You don't know what to do with yourself anymore.

"Give it time. We've got a purpose here. We just have to find it," she sets her knitting in her lap for a moment, a hand resting on your shoulder.

"I gave it time. I pretty much am time. So what's that purpose?" You say, a little bitter.

"I can only guide, Dave," she responds. "I promise we'll find it."

You sigh. You're still confused, but it's good enough. You trust her.
