The Return of Round Robin Fanadventures

Hi shippers! Welcome to Bonus Round 2.
Round Robin Fanadventures generated so much awesome stuff last year that we decided to bring it back!

For those who are new to HSO, this is not actually that complicated a concept, but it might be a little tricky to explain, so bear with me. The point of this round is to create a bunch of fanadventures that are for a team other than your own.

Rules

If you are starting a new adventure: start a new thread using the title format defined below. Include either text or 1-2 pieces of embedded art setting a scene (or both!), and finish with a command (==> does not count as a command for new threads). Then sit back and wait for someone else to contribute!
If you are continuing an adventure: find a thread that does not center around your team's ship. Then comment using the title format defined below. Include either text or 1-2 pieces of embedded art continuing the scene (or both!), and finish with a command (this can include ==>, though generally we would prefer otherwise). Then sit back and wait for someone else to contribute!
For ease of reading, we suggest using standardized image sizes. 600x400 landscape is a pretty good size! But as long as it's the same as the other images in the thread, people will have an easier time following along. The HTML for inserting images is <img src="http://yourimageurlhere.com">
For this challenge, there is no minimum wordcount. We are trusting you not to abuse that fact!
You may not comment twice in a row in one adventure. The point is to hand off the scene like a hot potato.
You may not introduce or create for your team's ship into a fanadventure. If someone else introduces your team's ship to a thread, you can still contribute to that thread so long as your contributions do not involve your ship.
This challenge will run until 11:59PM EDT July 7. After that time, even if it's just by a minute according to the LJ timestamp, no submissions will be accepted for points.

The lengthy drive from the airport finally comes to an end as you park your car in the driveway and cut the engine. You let go of each other's hand and make your way inside where, for now, everything is quiet.

"Your mom home?" Dave asks as he shuts the door behind you and sets his bag down.

"She was when I left," you answer.

His head doesn't move but you can imagine his eyes scoping the front hall, the stairs, and the hallways to other portions of the house from behind his sunglasses. He puts on an over-dramatic serious voice. "Then where could she be now, I wonder. It's quiet... too quiet."

You hook your scarf around Dave's neck and pull him in for a kiss, then move back when he responds. "The best way to keep a lady's attention is not to keep speaking of her mother," you admonish with a crooked grin. It's more than likely that your dear mother has fallen into a drunken stupor by now and you aren't worried about her. "Shall we go upstairs?"

Dave gets the hint and you head upstairs together.

Mom: Spy on your darling daughter.

"Oh! You simply managed to catch me on one of my daily naps." The mermaid leans back and lazily waves her tail.

"You need all the rest ou can get when you're a royalty like me."

>Jade: Royalty?!! Gasp in awe

You quickly shake off your thoughts and begin to get dressed. As you put on your school uniform (which is one of the lamest things you've ever had to wear), you think about just how you're going to tell him. Do you tell him outright? Write it in a card? Give him something that's bound to make him notice your feelings?

You stop, remembering that you do have a present for him. You bought it last weekend with Roxy. How could you forget that? You search your room for the light blue box, finding it in your closet. You stuff it in your backpack without hesitation and run downstairs, seeing as the bus will be here any minute. You barely have any time to grab your breakfast. Thankfully, you made it on time as the bus is pulling in. You hop on the bus and quickly take a seat next to Roxy.

> Roxy: Discuss the plan with Jane

Well, at first you thought you should get Rose something you know she'd use. You know for a fact that she carries at most one COMPUTER with her at a time, when really she should have at least five. But that might seem like you were passive-aggressively calling her impractical. Getting her something she'd enjoy, like KNITTING SUPPLIES, poses a similar problem, since it might seem like you were criticizing her knitting skills. You think some cute SQUIDDLES might be romantic in a silly kind of way (tanglebuddies are so sweet!!), but you don't want to just get Rose something you'd like instead of what she'd like. The only other things you can come up with that you know for sure she'd be interested in are ZOOLOGICALLY DUBIOUS CREATURES, but then again trying to SUMMON HORRIFIC BEASTS might put a damper on a birthday celebration. Dave was saying something about using your "witchy powers," but to do what? Take Rose on a trip, maybe? But where would you take her?

Ugh, this is hard! It's hard and no one understands.

When Rose wakes up in the morning, it is to an empty bed. That in itself isn't unusual, but the other half of the bed isn't made up like it usually is when Kanaya wakes first. Her dark silky robe is still hanging on the door, which is cracked open.

With a small worried frown, Rose slips out of bed and goes to check the master bathroom. There is no sign that Kanaya has even been in there this morning. An unsettling sense of wrongness permeates the air.

Rose: Go look for your vampire girlfriend

Perhaps skittish isn't the right word.

As a fandom, you have many different reactions, and not all of them are fear. By all rights, every member should be wetting their knickers right now. Does she have all her shots? Is that foam at her mouth you see? Does she hunger for you flesh? You really ought to turn tail and run but...

One member happens to be new, innocent, and oh so very curious.

In your head, you are suddenly no longer in the stocks. The Princess is spouting some nonsense about Highbloods being stronger than a Lowblood could ever be, and you prove her wrong by decking her right in the mouth. She screeches and a line of purple blood trails from her lip.

Before she can get a chance to retaliate, you're on her. You manage to get both of her slim wrists in one hand, and fist the other in her long, wavy hair.

You plan to show her just how much strength being part of the working class gives you, and you yank her head back. You then claim her mouth and--
Wait, woah, no. Back up there. That was not at all how that train of thought was supposed to go. You blink rapidly as you come out of your fantasy, and realize the Princess has been speaking.

Now Kar (since now you had decided to call him like that) looks more angry then before. He screams at you saying that he isn't cute and that his sizes is his own fucking bussines.

Out of all the things you expected this young lad to ask you this certainly isn't it.
Strider has taught you that people don't normally go around just talking up strangers and asking them places. Something you learned the hard way, because after all shouldn't everyone be up for a little adventure?

Well you sure are! And this seems like a great idea, you both get to see the movie plus you get to meet someone new, as much as you love your friends you would love the chance to make a new friend.

"Of course! That seems like a damn wonderful idea!"

He looks at you bit oddly but you don't really notice.

You aren't very imaginative, but you manage to hit her with a broom in a pretty realistic way.
Your thoughts had more interesting days.

Aradia: Ask to the noble lady what she wants in polite manners

You bust a move like its nobody's business (which it isn't and it's not like they could do anything if it was)you bust out some pretty ballin' moves if you do say so yourself. You are a great dancer and fighter and baker, you are pretty much perfect. It comes with being Jane Crocker, few, if any, will ever achieve your glory.

Oh, you should go find your dad now.

After giving the guy at the register payment for the movie, you follow your intriguing new friend. You still don't know his name, and though this should bother you, it really doesn't all that much. In fact, you have that familiar itch. The one that tells you that whatever this adventure has in store, it is going to be great fun.

You even let yourself consider that maybe this lad has more things with you in common. Perhaps he likes fisticuffs, though fisticuffs isn't something a person breaks out on a first...erm, what is this thing exactly? It feels strangely like a date, but that can't be right, can it? I mean, he's a guy, and he looks a whole lot like you, and something about it feels slightly narcissistic.

You follow the guy in silence for another block or two, until you stop at a cozy looking brownstone. The guy turns slowly and for a moment you think he's reconsidering the entire thing. Heck, you are kind of considering this whole shindig too. But he just smiles at you, in an endearingly, somewhat goofy way.

"Um, I guess before I invite you into my home, we should probably introduce ourselves. My name is John. John Egbert."

John extends his hand to you. For a moment you forget how to be polite, but you brush it off quickly and add a shiteating grin of your own as you shake his hand vigorously.

"Jake. Jake English. It is a pleasure to meet you, John."

And then he smiles at you again. And you kind of melt.

===>John, take Jake inside and pop that movie in the DVD player.

Though you wouldn't admit it, your heart is pounding, and not just because you are pulling off a daring entry right under her nose (which incidentally you've noticed is nothing like a stereotypical witch's nose, although you weren't expecting it to be), but because it is finally time.

Your mother and you have been preparing for quite some time as she taught you the ways of witches and wizards, and you have even written a few pieces of literature based off of them. One could even say that you wish to be a witch yourself, if they were daring.

However, it was impossible. You're human.

Impossible until now, that is. You retrieve your emergency wizard kit. To the casual onlooker, it might look like it was designed to shoo them away, as the purposes of the varying instruments were to the normal eye inscrutable.

To one as taught as yourself, they were easily recognizeable as tools designed to capture a witch or wizard. Wands with innate magic, primarily, although quite a few of them didn't look like conventional wands. They were all useable by a learned human.

With luck, you would no longer need these once you had captured the witch and could extract from her the secrets of magic.

You are a bit dubious as to the strength of these defensive charms, though... No matter. What could she do to you?

You pick up the weighted dice, and roll them around in your hand. Even though ~~Vwiskers~~ Vriska kind of scares you, Equius likes her reasonably well enough, and so does Aradia you think.

Besides, Vriska is far too proud to want people to know just how she won that FLARP game a few perigees ago. Everyone said it was impossible, and then when she actually won it, she was lauded as nearly a FLARP goddess. Until then, Aradia had been unanimously viewed as the best FLARPer.

Vriska would never want word of this flagrant cheating getting out.

You also wonder if you could make some kissing happen. You know that Rose is NOT A HETEROSEXUAL, and neither are you! But you're not sure how she would feel about that. It's not something you've really talked about, beyond some silly joking around. You guess you'll just have to wait and see!

Since you are currently living on Earth with your troll and human friends, this day doesn't hold the same amount of significance as it would have had you still been on Alternia, but you're pretty excited nonetheless. Later today you are going to host a DEATH THEMED COSTUME PARTY, also known as a CORPSE PARTY, in the apartment you share with Sollux, and your girlfriend has revealed to you that she has prepared the best gift ever!! :). You wonder what it could be! You kick the new student in the shin and then trips her, causing her to fall on her cute rump, with you following shortly thereafter. You rearrange yourself so that you sit on her chest, holding her down by her wrists. She seems to have given up fighting for now. You can tell you are going to be great friends!
