The Return of Round Robin Fanadventures

Hi shippers! Welcome to Bonus Round 2.
Round Robin Fanadventures generated so much awesome stuff last year that we decided to bring it back!

For those who are new to HSO, this is not actually that complicated a concept, but it might be a little tricky to explain, so bear with me. The point of this round is to create a bunch of fanadventures that are for a team other than your own.

Rules

If you are starting a new adventure: start a new thread using the title format defined below. Include either text or 1-2 pieces of embedded art setting a scene (or both!), and finish with a command (==> does not count as a command for new threads). Then sit back and wait for someone else to contribute!
If you are continuing an adventure: find a thread that does not center around your team's ship. Then comment using the title format defined below. Include either text or 1-2 pieces of embedded art continuing the scene (or both!), and finish with a command (this can include ==>, though generally we would prefer otherwise). Then sit back and wait for someone else to contribute!
For ease of reading, we suggest using standardized image sizes. 600x400 landscape is a pretty good size! But as long as it's the same as the other images in the thread, people will have an easier time following along. The HTML for inserting images is <img src="http://yourimageurlhere.com">
For this challenge, there is no minimum wordcount. We are trusting you not to abuse that fact!
You may not comment twice in a row in one adventure. The point is to hand off the scene like a hot potato.
You may not introduce or create for your team's ship into a fanadventure. If someone else introduces your team's ship to a thread, you can still contribute to that thread so long as your contributions do not involve your ship.
This challenge will run until 11:59PM EDT July 7. After that time, even if it's just by a minute according to the LJ timestamp, no submissions will be accepted for points.

NOTES:

Audio posts are fine, so long as you include a transcript.
Please make sure to check that your titles are correct!
You may answer commands that have already been answered. Think of it like a 'choose your own adventure' game!

Title Format
If you are starting a new thread, use this format in your title.

Replace [THEIR SHIP] with the ship you want this particular fanadventure thread to be. Remember that you cannot create a fanadventure based on your own ship. Whatever ship you choose must be represented by a HSO team not your own. The only exception is gen adventures, which are permitted.
Replace [YOUR SHIP] with the name of the team YOU belong to; please use the characters and quadrant, not whatever portmanteau or nickname you've come up with. If your team name is not in this format and in the title it may not be counted.

If you are continuing a thread, use this format in your title.

Replace [COMMAND] with whatever command the previous fill has specified.
Replace [YOUR SHIP] with the name of the team YOU belong to; please use the characters and quadrant, not whatever portmanteau or nickname you've come up with.
If your title is not in this format it may not be counted.

The sun is setting on the ocean as the two girls lounge on a beach. It was a beautiful end to a great day, full of swimming, splashing, and a bit of surfing.
Jade sits up, and states her desire to go for a walk. Feferi stands and offers her a hand, and they set off.
Feferi and Jade: Go for a walk down the beach.

The sunset is already beginning to stain the sky red as the two girl girls walk side by side down the beach, sandy shoulders brushing. The sand is warm underneath their feet, the last remains of the day's warmth. Now it was a different warmth - gentle, like a blanket's.

Jade's eyes survey her surroundings, but keep on coming back to her friend. She was still intrigued by her despite the length of time she had been able to see one other; the candy corn horns, the grey skin that still seemed so full of life despite the colour, and especially the more fishy parts of her appearance - namely the fins protruding from her face, and the brilliant pink gills hidden under flaps down the sides of her torso.

The intrigue wasn't in a bad way though - no, far from it. It was just so... Interesting! And she always loved learning more about her friends. But she could ask about the skin and the horns with any of the other girls. The fins, the gills - she could only ask Feferi.
And why not ask now?

Jade: Inquire about Feferi's fishy qualities.

"What is it in the blood color that make your overall body structure develop so differently from lower bloods?" The scientist in her asks this in the big words that she knows.

And the question hangs in the air over them like a misty cloud. It had come from nowhere, but Feferi's darker yellow eyes regard Jade and her curiosity with a contemplative look.

"Whale, I think it's a question for someone like Eridan to answer, but if he did, I'm shore he'd just get into another of his superiority speeches."

She giggles, having expected an answer that wasn't very in depth.

Jade: Continue to inquire

"Surely you must know something, though." Jade stopped, curling her toes in the sand, and smiled back at Feferi. "Even if you aren't sure the exact ways in which your blood effects the development of your respiratory system or fins, you gotta have some kind of insight into the hows, whys, and what it feels likes of being a seadwelling troll."

"Hmmm..." Feferi looked thoughtful, swinging hers and Jade's hands back and forth. "Well, I've had my gills and fins ever since I was a guppy, so I can't really tell you about how I got them or anyfin like that." Feferi puffed her cheeks out, pouting slightly. Then her eyes lit up, and her fins flared a little in excitement. "But I remember the first time Eridan took me out onto the land to meet some of the other trolls! I was sooo shocked to see that they didn't have such beautiful, colorful gills like all the people I'd met underwater! I thought they were pretty weird to be honest."

Jade nodded. "I guess so!"

Feferi grinned, skipping ahead a bit so they could walk in the surf. "And it's reely calming to have someone stroke your fins? I used to have to do it all the time for Eridan when we were moirails." She shrugged. "I dunno, I'm not reely sure what to tell you. I've been a sea troll my whole life, so I don't know all that much about how it's different from being anybody else."

Feferi: Return the favor and inquire about Jade

"So, Jade, what about you? You told me you grew up on an island, is that any different from how all of your fronds grew up?" Feferi smiles at Jade, and Jade returns the look.

"Actually, yeah! I mean, I grew up there with my grandpa, but I didn't really think about how other people grew up until I met John, Dave and Rose! And as it turns out, not many people grow up on their own islands, hehe."

"You mean you don't build your own hives--houses?"

"Nope! Well, we can, but a lot of people don't. It's not a thing like it is on Alternia, though!" They walk in silence for a little bit, and then Jade turns to look at the sunset.

Jade: Point out the brilliant sunset to Feferi.

Jade lifts a hand wordlessly, and Feferi follows her gaze. What she sees stops her in her tracks: the sky, stained every colour imaginable as a burning golden sun sinks towards the ocean. It makes her think of distant memories, watching the moons rise on Alternia, their dichromatic swirl reflected in the waves around her. This sight is in many ways similar, but at the same time something utterly unique to Earth.

Feferi stares and stares, drinking in the sight. Even though the bright light leaves spots floating in her vision, she doesn't want to miss a moment of it. Jade watches with her, and neither girl speaks until the last speck of gold slips away.

It feels like the perfect end to the day.

Feferi turns to Jade. "I suppose we should head back, before it gets too cold."

To her surprise, Jade smiles. "Let's stay out a while longer. I have a great idea for how to stay warm."

Jade: Be the girl with the great idea.

From the depths of your sylladex you pull out a SNUGGLY BLANKET. For a moment you started to worry if you'd brought it for nothing. You wrap the blanket around yourself and Feferi, taking care to make sure you are extra snuggly.

There. That should keep you warm.

=> Feferi: Look at Jade

Jade's hair is even messier than usual after all the saltwater. It doesn't seem to worry her. There's a speck of dried saltwater on her glasses, too, Feferi notices. Jade's eyes, almost the same color as her pesterchum text, meet hers for a second before drifting back to the ocean in front of them. The reflection of the setting sun is barely visible in Jade's pupils. She's beautiful.

Feferi leans a little closer, letting their long hair twine together. She puts her hand in Jade's, eyes still fixed on her human friend's face. Slowly, carefully, she lifts her other hand to Jade's face, rubbing off the salt on her glasses with her thumb before taking the glasses off Jade's face completely and placing them in the sand beside her.

Jade has turned towards Feferi again, an almost surprised look on her face.

=> Feferi: Ruin the moment

"Ahh, sorry!" Feferi says quickly, waving her hands around as if that would dismiss her actions. "You just had a bit of salt on your glasses, is all!" She lets out a nervous giggle and gives Jade an equally nervous, shifty look.

"Oh, that's okay," Jade decides, making a big deal of folding her hands in her lap. If Feferi wasn't mistaken, could she have heard...a hint of disappoint in her human friend's tone? Oh, this isn't good...

"You weren't expecting something else, were you?" Feferi asks carefully.

"Uh, no! It's not that, haha." Now it's Jade's turn to emit a nervous chuckle.

Okay, this isn't good at all! You've got to do something before Jade bails on you...

You take a deep breath - the salty air sings through your gills - hesitate, and before you can way overthink this and ruin it all, you put a hand under Jade's chin and give it a tug so that she's facing you all over again.

This time she's DEFINITELY surprised. Her lips part a little and reveal her big old (really cute) hopbeast teeth. She has long dark eyelashes that criss-cross each other and ring her eyes like the prettiest anemones you've ever seen. You save this compliment somewhere in the back of your think pan for the next time you guys are getting all mushy and roman-- you mean, friendly! Ha ha. Friendly.

For now, you forgo compliments, shut your eyes, and give Jade a friendly kiss.

Right on the mouth.
