VOTING FOR ROUND ONE

Sorry for the delay, but voting for Round One is finally up!

If you are in Sector One, go to this link.

Please do try to read as many entries in your assigned sector as possible before voting. If you are at all confused, do not vote and definitely do not vote twice--email us and we will help you.

If you are not sure what sector your team is in, check this list.

Voting will be open until Sunday, July 1 11:59PM EDT. Sorry it's such a short timespan! We want to make sure we have time for the second voting phase.
Bonus points will be awarded for voting participation at a rate of 5 points per voting team member for a maximum of 30 points. 30 bonus points will also be awarded to teams in which every member or every member but one votes.

We will be posting more concrete scoring information as soon as we can.

ETA: We are aware of the typo on the confirmation screen! Please rest assured that it is a typo, and forms are going to the appropriate sectors.
SECTOR THREE VOTERS: there is currently an issue where the form does not have the correct amount of voting slots. It will be fixed in the next twenty-four hours, so if you could hold off on voting until it has been fixed we would ask you to please do so. If you have already voted for four entries and want to add a fifth vote, please email us your username and your fifth vote.

ETA 2: Everything should be fixed now! Please do let us know if anything is still wrong; email is the quickest and most reliable way to get in touch with us.
SECTOR THREE VOTERS: If you have voted, please resubmit your form! The old data has been marked invalid. If you have not voted, go ahead and vote!

Hey there,

There's what seems to be a typo in the "review your choices" message for Sector 2 voting: Last chance! Are you sure you have voted for FIVE DIFFERENT SUBMISSIONS, and that your team is a SECTOR ONE team?

(Sector One/Sector Two mixup.)

We're aware of the issue, and when the mod responsible for the voting forms is awake she'll attend to it. The votes are going to the right sectors, so please don't be too concerned!

Hi -- I just thought you should know that the Nepeta<3Tavros entry (http://hso2012-r1.dreamwidth.org/27571.html) is not tagged with S2 like it should be! I couldn't find it in the S2 entries, I had to go through the main page of the HSO to find it and read it!

Annnnd same with Tavros<3Vriska, it's not tagged either. And Equius<3Nepeta and Aradia<3Sollux and Davesprite<3Jadesprite, but I can't even find those ones even after searching through all the pages of the R1 entries, so I can't read them at all...

Not a mod, but as for the three teams you can't find (because I've been keeping an eye out for them too) it's possible that (1) those teams didn't have an entry or (2) their palhoncho hasn't unlocked them yet.

I was just wondering if voting ends tonight or tomorrow night?
The original post about sectors and assignments said "will last until June 30, 11:59PM EDT" which is tonight and this post says "Sunday, July 1 11:59PM EDT" which is tomorrow night.

When is it actually going to close?

I have a question! Are all votes weighted the same, or should we put our favorite for #1, our second favorite for #2, etc? Does it matter?

Oh man, this may seem like a stupid question. And I may be dumb not to notice, since this is my first year.

But is Team English allowed to vote for Main Round 1? I didn't see Team English on the list anywhere so. Uh yeah haha.

Team English has to wait until Phase Two, when the top 40 are announced--sorry! We couldn't figure out a way to divide Team English into sectors fairly. Another voting form will go up next weekend for everyone, including Team English, to use.

I voted, but there was a problem with the site and I guess it didn't go through? I don't know. And I am wondering if I can try again, but I don't want to get penalized for voting more than once. I'll just be resubmitting I guess.
