Tales from the Road
Hey, shippers! HSO is winding down, so we thought we'd take a look back at the journey, so to speak. With that in mind, this next bonus round is going to be roadtrip-themed! Give us a little taste of your characters' life on the road, whatever form that takes.
Rules
- Submit prompts! Prompts should consist of one ship (friendship/gen is fine too!) and a location. This cannot be your team's ship! This round we will not be giving points for prompts.
- Look through the prompts and fill whichever you like!
- You may not fill prompts for your ship, nor may you fill your own team's prompts.
- Fills should be posted as replies to the prompts which they are for, following the format below. They may be any medium.

PROMPT: TEAM JADE<3KARKAT
Location: Anime con
FILL: Team Kanaya<3Rose
"If he WANTED to kill without anyone realizing it was murder he totally could! But he just stuck with the heart attacks because he wants people to KNOW it's him!"
"Then why does he maintain his anonymity?" Roses asks, listlessly.
"It's BECAUSE he doesn't want L to find him! That would make it super easy, and then we wouldn't have all those mind games!"
"From what I hear, L scarcely considers any other suspect. It appears, in fact, the entire scenario is just a thinly veiled pretext for homoeroticism."
A slightly conflicted expression forms on Jade's face, which Rose easily deciphers as the urges to enthusiastically agree and disagree with the statement conflicting in her head. Rose is just familiar enough to think, Just as planned.
The lane starts moving again before Jade can answer; eventually, she mutters, "Not just that."

Rose has cleaned her plate and is now reading a small book she brought just for this eventuality. Jade has barely touched her food, except for the bacon which she starts gnawing at whenever her excitement reaches a certain peak.
A sympathetic waitress pours Rose another cup of coffee.
"And then he reveals his power is to make black holes!" Jade gesticulates widely in an attempt to find a suitable pantomime. It's a small miracle that her tall glass of orange juice is still upright after this entire conversation.
"Does he, at any point, stick candles in his beard and light them on fire?" Rose asks, turning the page.
"What? No. He does fight a guy on fire, though."
"Well, the historical Blackbeard did that. Hard to say this guy measures up."
"Ooh! But he does have a great laugh!" Jade lets out a loud and oddly high-pitched "zehahaha!" that causes the entire diner to turn around.
Rose sips at her coffee pointedly as Jade shrinks into her seat.
"Why is all my food so cold." Jade says, obliviously.

"But the ending was so sad!"
Jade bounces a little on the hotel bed, clutching the pillow tightly as if she would dissolve into pure feels without something to hold onto. Rose sighs, and decides it's time to take action.
"He decides the only way for world peace is--mmph!" Jade abruptly finds her mouth forcefully sealed by Rose's own. Rose flings the pillow aside and insinuates herself into Jade's embrace as they kiss. It's by far the longest she's gone without hearing Jade's voice all day.
"If you're trying to get me to stop, Rose," Jade says, holding her, "that's not exactly discouragement."
Rose chuckles. "I know how reinforcement works, dear." She nuzzles Jade's neck and whispers into her ear. "Maybe I just didn't want to be spoiled."
