Tales from the Road
Hey, shippers! HSO is winding down, so we thought we'd take a look back at the journey, so to speak. With that in mind, this next bonus round is going to be roadtrip-themed! Give us a little taste of your characters' life on the road, whatever form that takes.
Rules
- Submit prompts! Prompts should consist of one ship (friendship/gen is fine too!) and a location. This cannot be your team's ship! This round we will not be giving points for prompts.
- Look through the prompts and fill whichever you like!
- You may not fill prompts for your ship, nor may you fill your own team's prompts.
- Fills should be posted as replies to the prompts which they are for, following the format below. They may be any medium.

First 5 entries in each post: 30 (per entry)
Entries 6-10 in each post: 20 (per entry)
Entries 11-15 in each post: 10 (per entry)
Entries 16+ in each post: 5 (per entry)
All scored content must be created/assembled new for this round.

The founder of Skaianet is an eccentric man. He seems to have an almost limitless plethora of hobbies and skills, and you find yourself surprised at him almost daily.
Still, the aged Jake Harley manages to be consistent in some ways: he's terribly reckless. You've already lost count of the number of times you've had to talk him out of foolish scuffles. To be quite honest, you're surprised he managed to survive to his eighties without someone like you around. Not that you're a beacon of rational, patient thinking yourself, but you manage to be reckless only in the ways he isn't, and vice versa, and that is what keeps you both out of trouble. He's there to stay your hand when you reach for that drink that might be too much, and you're there to be the voice of reason.
It's a comfortable friendship, even though he's technically your boss.
Today you're travelling to Venice. You don't know what exactly the film festival has to do with a corporation specializing in technological advancement (You suspect that it has nothing to do with it at all, and old Harley is just using this as an excuse to watch some movies). You're sitting across from him on a train, while he chats to a passing fellow who had been on the way back from the bathroom. Eventually the man leaves, and Harley turns back to you, grin entirely too wide and youthful to be on the face of an old man.
It makes you strangely sad, but you don't have time to dwell.
"Well? Having fun?"
"The wine's good."
"Dear girl, are you going to judge every country we go to on the quality of their alcohol?"
"Probably," you smirk at him. He rolls his eyes in overdramatic exasperation in return.
"Where's your sense of adventure?"
"We're on a train. I'll adventure when we're actually somewhere," you stick out your tongue childishly, and then sip your wine with some dignity. He chuckles, and you're unable to resist a return smile. "I'm guessing this isn't your first trip to Italy?"
"Not even remotely! I've been to the film festival every year since I learned about it!" He leaned forward, eyes lighting up as the topic turned to one of his favourite subjects: movies. "Some of them are really excellent, I'm sure you'll have fun."
"If you say so, then I'm sure I will."
Thirty minutes later, you manage to turn the conversation to work, which is fine because your work is science and science is something that interests you both greatly.
