Hey, shippers! This is the last bonus round, which we’re all very sad about. So let’s talk about some of the awesome stuff created throughout the HSO!

Each recommendation must include at least three full sentences about why it’s awesome. Please use the format specified below.

You may recommend as many sets as you like, so long as each set has at least three recs in it.

Rec 1: Fuck Yeah, Adventure!

Why I’m recommending it: Of all the games made during this hso, I think this one has to be my favorite, and I realized this as soon as I spoke to one of the carapaces. Let's be upfront now, the dialogue is absolutely killer. You will definitely want to interact with as many npcs as you can because they have some of the greatest lines. On top of that, there are three dream-sequences that occur between each in-game day that really pull the story together and show different sides to the Bro/Grandpa dynamic, all equally hilarious in their own rights. The art is lovely, the writing is top-notch, and the game aspects of it are fun to play. I can't rec this entry enough; it's simply the best there is.

Rec 2: Gather Up Its Harm and Gods

Why I’m recommending it: The art for this entry is absolutely stunning. The pictures perfectly capture the grotesque and uncanny aspects of the story, and the two styles mesh seamlessly. But on top of that, the writing is so genuinely unsettling that it will make you feel the sheer wrongness of the whole story as if you were in Roxy's place. The prose is creepy, disorienting, even borders on poetic at times, and it is so, so perfect.

Rec 3: 'Cause I'd Miss You, Babe

Why I’m recommending it: I am continually blown away by this team's creative use of format and media, and the collab entry is no exception. The tumblr-format is just so fun and detailed, and the team managed to make some impressively elaborate blogs for each character. Not to mention the sheer level of unadulterated CUTE in the posts (the ask messages, the TAGS, etc.) The writing for each character is so spot on, and if that weren't enough for you, there's a freaking adorable cosplay thread and in-character doodles! There are just so many little details about this entry that make it shine, I could ramble on forever, but suffice to say it is definitely worth a read-through.
