Hey, shippers! This is the last bonus round, which we’re all very sad about. So let’s talk about some of the awesome stuff created throughout the HSO!

Rules

1. Rec at least three fanworks from the main or bonus rounds! They do not have to be connected to each other in any way.


2. You may not recommend material created by members of your own team.


3. Each recommendation must include at least three full sentences about why it’s awesome. Please use the format specified below.


4. You may recommend as many sets as you like, so long as each set has at least three recs in it.

For fills (as stated here):
First 5 entries in each post: 30 (per entry)
Entries 6-10 in each post: 20 (per entry)
Entries 11-15 in each post: 10 (per entry)
Entries 16+ in each post: 5 (per entry)

Rec 1: Observation

Why I’m recommending it: I wasn't really into this ship until I read this illustrated fanfic. The first thing you notice is the gorgeous art, put together in a way that fits so well in the story, even though the artists all used a different, personal style (which made it so much better and dynamic, imo). The story was thoroughly enjoyable, with funny and tender moments written in a way that matched the beautiful artworks perfectly. May I add this human Karkat was very convincing, and his interactions with Dave as well!

Rec 2: UFFERN DÂN

Creator: Main Round 1 entry
Why I’m recommending it: Wow, what an entry. Extremely funny and smart for combining Bro's ironic purposes with John's pranking skills. The idea of making them pair up unwillingly is always fun, and to see it really worked in the end is quite an accomplishment. I liked the concept of them being demons, and grimdark!Rose being their boss. Really great writing on the characters considering it's an AU that makes them demons. Also, the art is truly funny and goes well with what's going on. Go read it!

Rec 3: The Gran Ruse: The Ass Was A Distaction

Why I’m recommending it: The characters are very well written, and the story is well-paced. There are quite a lot of funny moments and I really liked how it worked with Dave having to go on with Rose's dare. There's some extremely nice art in there apart from the writing. The ending is just so adorable, I just kept smiling like a dork. Thoroughly cute.
