Hey, shippers! This is the last bonus round, which we’re all very sad about. So let’s talk about some of the awesome stuff created throughout the HSO!

Rules

1. Rec at least three fanworks from the main or bonus rounds! They do not have to be connected to each other in any way.


2. You may not recommend material created by members of your own team.


3. Each recommendation must include at least three full sentences about why it’s awesome. Please use the format specified below.


4. You may recommend as many sets as you like, so long as each set has at least three recs in it.

For fills (as stated here):
First 5 entries in each post: 30 (per entry)
Entries 6-10 in each post: 20 (per entry)
Entries 11-15 in each post: 10 (per entry)
Entries 16+ in each post: 5 (per entry)

Rec 1: Untitled
Team: Equius <3 Eridan
Creator: Team Entry Round 2
Why I’m recommending it: This was a lot of fun! The world building was exquisite, the characterization spot on, and the pacing was wonderful. The characters are all mythological creatures and interact differently because of it, but it's not hard to see their canon personalities shine through anyway.

Rec 2: Adaptable
Team: Dave <3 Sollux
Creator: Team Entry Round 2
Why I’m recommending it: Now, come on. Dave Strider, vampire hunter? How could I not recommend this? :) My favorite part of this is the cliche-busting bit of the vampiric romance. This is no Twilight, and Dave is no Anita Blake. This is fun, light, and delightfully in character. GOOD FILL.

Rec 3: The Myth of Persollux and Megidusa
Team: Aradia <> Sollux
Creator: Team Entry Round 2
Why I’m recommending it: This is literally the best piece I have seen this year for the HSO, not gonna lie. I'm sure this has been recced already 100 times, but there is just nothing not perfect about this. Greek mythology buff? Get on this. The story is lovely, the characterization spot on, the art is wonderful, and it's even funny to boot. Do yourself a favor and read this at least seven times, if you haven't already.

Team: Sollux <3 Terezi
Creator: Team Fill Round 1
Why I’m recommending it: THE CHARACTERIZATION! This fic has PERFECT characterization all around. The artwork is also wonderful and completely fitting to the mood of the story. And the ending was the best part of it. :)

Rec 5: How to Cheat at Cards for Fun and profit
Team: Aradia <> Sollux
Creator: Team Fill Round 1
Why I’m recommending it: Oops, reccing this team again. OH WELL. This is an excellent, funny fic with, as you might have guessed is my kink by now, PERFECT CHARACTERIZATION. Not to mention, this was so much fun to read! The artwork is enchanting. The story is perfect. Everything is so great about this fic, I cannot even tell you.
